Pastor Kevin Molloy has been a minister of the gospel since 2003. Over this 20 years of vocational ministry, Kevin has led efforts in evangelism, discipleship, and proclamation of the gospel.
As the founding pastor of Hope Christian Church (serving the church from 2009-2023) in Santa Clarita, California, Kevin personally led a variety of people to trust in Christ, discipled many new believers in coffee shops, and baptized over 100 new converts.
As a Church Planting Strategist for the San Fernando Valley Southern Baptist Association in northern Los Angeles, he worked with a variety of church planters, language churches, and pastoral coalitions for the planting of new works in the San Fernando Valley.
As a professor in graduate studies at The Master's University, he mentored dozens of Christian teachers entering the public school domain. He coached these potential teachers from personal experience; having taught in the public school setting (mostly while also pastoring) for the past 30 years.
Now as host of TheHopeCast podcast, he reaches between 150-200 people each week with in-depth expositional bible teaching through books of the Bible.
Through his years in ministry, Kevin has served in both large and small churches, has served through leadership transitions, and has led both in local and international ministries.
In 2023, Kevin and his wife Cathy followed God's call to move to central Texas. They now live in McDade, and are seeking God's next ministry assignment!
Currently, Kevin leads the TheHopecast, and teaches at Cedar Creek High School, in Cedar Creek Texas. His wife Cathy is a Christian Counselor (MA in Clinical Psychology) and is in private practice (CLICK HERE for more details).
